Delicately prepared tea sandwiches, sweets and scones are served in intimate settings throughout the manor. A selection of teas are served in an eclectic collection of china sets. Surrounded by classic Victorian elegance and charm, this experience and culinary offering are steeped in both flavor and history. The Lady Mary Inn is the quintessential setting for afternoon tea.

Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.
The menu is designed for one person. Please no splitting.
We do offer a kids menu to aspiring tea aficionados under the age of twelve.

Revolutionary Tea
June 14, 2026
In partnership with The North Berwick Historical Society we invite guests to an special afternoon tea steeped with history.
As we celebrate the 250th birthday of our Country, this special tea will be filled with historical facts and engaging conversation about life here at the time of the Revolutionary War.
“Strawberry Fever”
June 25th - 28th, 2026
In the Victorian Language of Flowers, the strawberry represented perfection. They were often the centerpiece of spring and summer social calendars.
Join us for a week of Afternoon Tea as we pay homage to this perfect fruit.

Tea House Details
Dress code We are asked this a lot – while we do not have a set standard dress code, we suggest a smart casual attire - tea hats are encouraged!
Timing: We ask that all group members arrive at the same time so that we can provide you with the best service we can offer.
Additional Parking: If the parking is full in front of the Inn, please continue along the driveway around the left side of the building, There is additional parking in the lot next door.
Entering the Tea House: Enter the Tea House through the glass door on the back porch. You will be greeted there and shown to your table.
Reservations, Duration and Seating: Afternoon Tea is designed to be a 90 minute experience. While we try to offer enough time for you to enjoy your stay, the company and food, while we never try and rush anyone, if you would like to stay longer kindly ask if there is another reservation after yours, if there is not, we are happy to extend your time.
Modifying or Cancelling: We make all of the food each day to guarantee freshness, therefore it is important to notify us of changes to your reservation.
- Guests have up to the day before your reservation to make any changes without a penalty.
- There will be a $25 fee for each person not in attendance. This is to cover the food prepared for the absent guest(s). The party can take this food home.
- No shows will be charged in full
